The open house was TONS of fun. Lots of silent auction baskets, that sold for a few hundred dollars each. (On average, anyway.) The basket that some other raisers and I donated sold for at least 300 dollars. It was probably much more, but that was what it was about a half hour before it ended. The prices always go way up by the end though.
Here are pictures from the trial.
Blitz and I at the obedience round.
Over the bark
The weakest point in the whole trial. See that dirt-looking stuff on the ground? That's doggy biscuits. Blitz is fine leaving people food alone, since we see it so often and he's never been allowed to eat any, but DOG biscuits?
A wading pool with a fake (moving) fish in it.
Exitting the bus portion of the trials.
Cute picture!! This is Cally. (Not sure if that's the spelling.)
Blitz and Andie, his sister.
Lookit that tongue!
Well, that's pretty much it! Blitz is sound asleep now, after spending five hours in the hot weather. We did try to stay in the shade most of the day, but it was 95 degrees.
